Day 1: AIRPORT – NEGOMBO
 
Ayubowan- you have arrived! Welcome to Negombo.
 
Dubbed Srilanka 's "Little Rome" this beach town located just a few kolimeters away from the Bandaranaike International Airport is full of surprises foe wanderlusts.
 
Enjoy a sunset walk along the beach or simply sit with a cocktail and watch the sun set over the Indian Ocean. After all you are on holiday!
 
Overnight stay: NEGOMBO
 
Day 2: NEGOMBO - ANURADHAPURA - AAVUKANA - HABARANA
 
After breakfast proceed to the cultural triangle.
 
Visit Anuradhapura .Anuradhapura, although limited to picturesque ruins today this sacred city was the epicenter of the country's civilization during the medieval era. The city is renowned for the multiplicity of religious and archeological sites.
 
Thereafter, proceed to Avukana. Avukana, located in the backwoods of the North Central Province, the village of avukana is home to the tallest and most well-preserved ancient Buddha statue in the world carved out of a single standing rock.
 
Late afternoon,proceed the hotel check in and relax by the pool.
 
Overnight stay HABARANA.
 
Day 3: HABARANA – SIGIRIYA - POLONNARUWA - HABARANA
 
After breakfast proceed to Sigiriya.
 
Sigiriya Rock Fortress ,an 8th wonder of the world is a rare jewel among the many treasures in SriLanka The famous Sigiriya frescoes of the buxom ,wasp waisted maidens bearing flowers, amidst the wilderness and ancient ruins.
 
Thereafter proceed to Polonnaruwa. Polonnaruwa enthralls its visitors with a timeless reflection of the country's glorious history. Once the site of SriLanka's second medieval capital the quaint landscapes studded with sites of archaeological importance are all well preserved.
 
OVERNIGHT STAY HABARANA.
 
Day 4: HABARANA - DAMBULLA – KANDY
 
After a leisurely breakfast leave the cultural triangle and head towards Hill Country capital –Kandy with en route stops in Matale to see a Spice Garden and Batik Factory and Damulla to see the Rock Caves.
 
Dambulla Rock Caves…. (Optional Visit at US$ 15.00 nett per Person).. Dambulla Cave temple, a complex that lies atop a massive hill on the edge of the town is one of the eight UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITES in the country and is renowned for its unique sculptures and the largest mural paintings. Upon reaching Kandy check in at hotel. Spend the afternoon relaxing.
 
Early evening enjoy a traditional Cultural Show.
 
Thereafter proceed to the Dalada Malgawa .Temple of the tooth relic of Lord Buddha, is the pride of Buddhists in Sri Lanka and world over. The palace temple stands surrounded by a moat, its golden roof gleaming in the sunlight as white clad pilgrims bearing lotus blossoms throng to worship.
 
OVERNIGHT STAY KANDY.
 
Day 5: KANDY - PINNAWALA - PERADENIYA - KANDY
 
After breakfast at the hotel proceed to Pinnawela elephant orphanage.
 
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, located 13Km northwest of Kegalle towards Kandy,is famous because of the elephant orphanage located in the area.
 
It is a must visit as it would definitely add an unforgettable experience to your stay in this paradise isle.
 
Later visit the Royal Botanical gardens in Peradeniya. Peradeniya Botanical Garden although its origins date back to the ear of medieval times, bears a rich history punctuated by colonialism and industrial change. The splendor of the gardens, further uplifted by the river that flows through its fringes.

Day 6: KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA
 
In the morning, proceed to Nuwara Eliya experiencing a scenic dive ,en route stop at Ramboda falls watch point.
 
Nuwara Eliya, dubbed the "Little ENGLAND OF SRILANKA " is located in the thick, misty hills of this paradise isle. The colonial atmosphere remains preserved, resembles a British countryside complete with rose gardens, hedges and reroofed bungalows.
 
See how Ceylon tea is made and gain an insight into becoming a discerning tea taster on a Tea Factory tour. Learn the art of plucking the legendary two leaves and bud. It is not as easy as it looks yet it is great fun!

Day 7: NUWARA ELIYA – KITHULAGALA - HIKKADUWA
 
After breakfast proceed to Hikkaduwa via Kitulgala.
 
Kitulgala synonymous with the scenic locations where the award-winning movie Bridge of the River Kwai'was shot-Kithulgala is located some 87 km away from Colombo on the edge of county's wet zone.
 
Arrive in Hikkauwa.
 
OVERNIGHT STAY HIKKADUWA.
 
Day 8 - 14 : HIKKADUWA
 
It's time to relax and enjoy the Indian Ocean.
 
Grab a sun bed, a good book and feel the warm tropical breeze in the shade of palm trees.
